AVer Information Donates Chromebook Charging Carts To Federal Way Public Schools

57 AVer C20i Chromebook Charging Carts donated to help FWPS prepare for when students return to the classroom
Fremont, CA - November 18, 2020

AVer Information Inc. USA, the award-winning provider of video collaboration solutions and education technology solutions, announced today donation of 57 AVer C20i Chromebook Charging Carts to Federal Way Public Schools (FWPS) in Federal Way, Washington.

Like many school districts across the country, FWPS is facing ever-growing technology needs due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the immediate shift to a fully remote learning environment.

Knowing FWPS could benefit from a safe and secure charging solution for additional computers when students return to the classroom, AVer donated 57 of their C20i Chromebook Charge Carts. These were delivered to FWPS on November 6, 2020.

The C20i provides intelligent charging and storage for 20 devices with up to a 16” screen. The small footprint takes up little classroom space while 5” casters provide easy mobility to share between classrooms. Simple cable management allows for easy replacement of power cords and keeps cables secure and accessible.

"With companies like AVer donating dozens of these laptop carts, our computers will last much longer because they’ll be stored in a more effective way for our teachers and scholars to use them,"

said FWPS Superintendent Dr. Tammy Campbell.

"We couldn’t be prouder of partners like AVer who are helping fill the technology gap to benefit our scholars in Federal Way Public Schools. Thank you so much, it means a lot to us."

"These uncertain times have been difficult for every school district around the country, and schools have had difficulty planning for the unknown. With the eventual inevitability of students returning to the classroom, AVer is working hard to help districts prepare for all scenarios,"

says James Salter, Marketing Director, Education and Pro AV, AVer USA.

"AVer is proud to provide this donation to Federal Way and will continue working with schools and districts to help them prepare for this new era of teaching and learning."
