That's why we built our new A+ Software Suite: to fully integrate AVer doc cams into most any classroom technology - and especially in 1 to 1 and blended learning environments. Now with A+ Software Suite's NEW Sphere2 ClassSend feature, you can set-up class profiles that allow you send your doc cam-based lesson material, real-time, to your students' tablets or notebooks. Plus, your students can annotate and respond, sending content back to you using the ClassSend app installed on their devices.
The A+ Suite allows you to integrate doc cams into Microsoft™ applications, monitor multiple media sources simultaneously, as well as annotate record and upload! You can easily control your doc cam from within MS PowerPoint, placing a live doc cam image directly into a slide! When you want to upload a recorded lesson to YouTube, A+ does it for you. When pieces fit, using technology becomes easy, giving you more time to interact with your students rather than messing with your technology! With AVer, it all meshes together - seamlessly!
The Components
There are three main components to the A+ Software Suite:
The Sphere 2 lesson presentation software which now includes the NEW Class student engagement feature, Microsoft applications plug-in. With a simple and free installation, you can not only incorporate a live document camera image into the various components, but each medium gives you special features to create, enhance, record, share and now interact with students directly while they are using their 1 to 1 devices. Each of these components blend to bring you a complete, interactive multimedia presentation solution.
Enhanced Sphere 2 lesson presentation software
With AVer's new Sphere 2 lesson presentation software, you can easily present high-impact lessons and share them with one click. Present live video from multiple doc cams, live web cam video, and saved media (including videos) side by side and simultaneously. Why? Demonstrate a live frog dissection on one screen and have a student following along on another. Present how-to videos next to end-results with live web cam of the teacher showing on the screen as well. Sphere 2 is packed with customizing features so you can annotate, highlight and record the presentation and, when finished, upload to many sharing sites – YouTube, Dropbox, classroom management – to share with colleagues, students and more.
Sphere2 lesson presentation with the New Class Student Engagement feature
We enhanced AVer's Sphere2 lesson presentation software adding our new Class feature that allows a teacher to transmit portions of their doc cam-based lesson directly to students' 1 to 1 learning devices! Better yet, by using AVer's ClassSend app on their tablets, students can review, annotate, answer questions and send their content back! You can easily present high-impact lessons, receive students' interactive responses and display them for comparisons. Now, Sphere2 also allows you to present live video from multiple doc cams (including live web cams), as well as saved media (including videos) side by side and simultaneously. How?
- Demonstrate the structure of a medieval castle on one screen and have a student following along on another.
- Present how-to videos next to end-results with a live web cam of the teacher showing on the screen, as well.
- Send the screenshot to your students' tablets and have them identify the castle's sections using ClassSend's annotation features.
- The students' responses can then be received and projected on the teacher's Sphere2-enabled PC/Mac!
