AVer Information Inc. USA, the award-winning provider of video collaboration and education technology solutions, has been selected as a finalist in two categories, including the Gender Parity Award and Rising Star of the Year Award, as part of the inaugural CRN Women of the Year 2023 Awards. This new award aims to spotlight women who have made significant contributions to the channel.

The CRN Women of the Year 2023 Awards have recognized AVer as a finalist in the Gender Parity Award, a testament to the company’s commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. AVer is committed to equality in the workplace and has placed a special emphasis on gender parity in an effort to build a stronger, more diverse team. For AVer, gender equality means including various points of views and solutions so that the requests of women and men are both considered and valued equally. AVer also is committed to pay equity and providing leadership opportunities for women, who now have leadership roles in Sales, Finance, Operations and Human Resources.

Additionally, Sheon Harvey, Regional Sales Manager for AVer, has been selected as a finalist for the Rising Star of the Year Award for Vendor/Distributors. In 2016, Harvey joined AVer as a Sales and Marketing Executive. With dedication and hard work, her startup team achieved remarkable results, increasing revenue from $2 million to $20 million within three years. Furthermore, her division expanded significantly, growing from three team members to over ten members. Due to her rapid progress and exceptional performance, Harvey advanced to her current position as Regional Sales Manager.

The CRN Women of the Year Awards is a new project that aims to spotlight women who have made significant contributions to the channel and the companies that support them. The finalists, including 12 individual categories and three company categories, were selected by a panel of judges from a pool of over 300 applicants. The winners will be announced on December 5, 2023, at a special ceremony in New York City.
